Directions by road

Leave the M2 at junction 7 (signposted Canterbury, Dover), then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A2 (signposted Canterbury, Dover)

Continue onto the A2. Entering Boughton Under Blean

Branch left (signposted Canterbury), then merge onto the A2050 entering Canterbury A2050

- At St Peters Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Rheims Way - A290 (signposted Margate)
- At Wincheap Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Pin Hill - A28 (signposted Margate
- At Riding Gate Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Upper Bridge Street - A28 (signposted Margate)
- At St Georges Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Lower Bridge Street - A28 (signposted Margate, Ramsgate)
- At Chaucer Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Tourtel Road - A28 (signposted Margate)
- At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Sturry Road - A28
- At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Sturry Road - A28
- At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Sturry Road - A28
- Continue onto Mill Road - A28. Entering Sturry
- Continue over level crossing A28
- Bear right A28
- Continue onto Island Road - A28. Entering Hersden and go past "The Royal Oak" public house A28
